RLS sufferer Sue appeared with Julian Spinks of RLS-UK this Tuesday to talk about how impulse control disorder caused by the dopamine agonist ropinirole led her into gambling addiction and £80,000 of debt. Watch the full feature here:



This feature is the latest in a number of media articles on the subject over the last week and the resulting publicity has already led to significant improvements in NICE guidance and the addition of RLS to the GP training Curriculum from August 2025. RLS-UK has tirelessly campaigned to raise awareness of the risks of dopamine agonists and welcomes these improvements in treatment and GP training.
