AASM Review - Dopamine Agonists do more harm than good

A recent review of treatments for RLS and PLMD by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine has recommended that dopamine agonists should not be used as initial therapy for RLS due to the adverse effects of augmentation. This strengthens and supports the existing advice against the use of dopamine agonists except as a last resort.
